Meet Rebecca Crawford
Hello, I’m Rebecca Crawford, a Registered Psychotherapist providing online psychotherapy and counselling services for adults in Ontario.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I recognize that personal experiences, relationships, culture, identity, and life circumstances can all shape emotional well-being and influence how individuals experience stress, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, and personal growth.
My work incorporates integrative approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and multicultural perspectives that support self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful change. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward goals that align with their personal values and needs.
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing:
- Anxiety and chronic stress
- Depression and low mood
- Trauma and post-traumatic stress
- Self-esteem and body image concerns
- Relationship and family challenges
- Emotional overwhelm and burnout
- Life transitions and identity-related concerns
I believe therapy should provide a safe and respectful environment where individuals can explore challenges without judgment while building greater confidence, balance, and self-acceptance.
My goal is to support clients in developing practical tools, healthier coping patterns, and a stronger sense of personal empowerment while navigating life’s challenges in a way that feels authentic and sustainable for them.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create an environment that feels approachable, supportive, and professional throughout the therapeutic process.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward greater emotional well-being and personal growth.
